From the Runway: Southwest Style

From the Runway Southwest StyleIn fashion and design “Southwest Style” is inspired by the unique landscape, people and rich history of the American Southwest region. Southwestern clothing and decor is usually designed in warm colors and interesting geometric patterns. Iron, leather and distressed wood are common materials in Southwest style furniture and building materials.

Our Southwest fashion pairing from By George (pictured above) is a patchwork velvet skirt with two side slit pockets, a drawstring waist, and a long back slit. Pair this skirt with some your favorite boots and Southwest inspired jewelry by Pamela Love for a stylish on-trend look.

Style Breakdown:

In our client’s home pictured below, we used leather and wooden accents in every room. Leather studded dining chairs, wood and leather headboards, and leather seating in each bedroom brings a rustic quality to this home. Southwest-inspired textiles and art add warmth to create an inviting finished look.
