Accessories are the jewelry of a room, and as such I often find that my clients who enjoy jewelry typically like more accessories in their spaces. Likewise, if I have a client who wears minimal jewelry, then they will also most likely prefer fewer accessories in their design. When selecting, I tend to lean toward larger impact pieces rather than a ton of small knick knacks. Ideally, you should be able to notice an accessory piece from across the room, and these elements should be used to repeat color and play off of shapes or themes in the space.
