Summer Staycation: The Results

Over the past several weeks you have seen our summer staycation living room come together piece by piece, but as I’ve previously mentioned, the magic of interior design happens when all of those pieces play off of each other and create a harmonious design through utilizing the elements and principles of design.

I recently finished a project for a client in which we furnished 5 rooms in her home. She told me she had previously discussed with her husband that they could either purchase a new SUV, or could use that money to have their home professionally designed and furnished. In the end she decided to keep her current vehicle a few more years, hire us and enjoy her home more. She agrees with us that she made a great decision, and now enjoys her house every day. Since it opens up to a beautiful pool in her backyard the whole family is feeling like every day is a vacation.

Expensive vacations do bring enjoyment and memories, but you may want to elect to forgo one this year and instead have our team come in and make changes to make you feel like you are on vacation year-round. It always amazes me how much people will spend on vacations and eating out and then leave the place in which they spend the most time bland, boring and uninviting. There is no place quite like home, and there is no better place to call home than Austin, Texas.
