Tobi Fairley is a fellow southerner, hailing from Little Rock, Arkansas. My design crush on Tobi is greatly based around her bold use of pattern and color as I love working with color just as much as she does. I have gained inspiration and courage from her that I use with my own interiors to step outside the box more and be fearless with color. One of my favorite spaces that she has done is this casual sitting space that is a part of her Shadow Valley project. I love the bold use of yellow with the smaller navy and white accents. This blue, yellow and white color palette that stays true throughout the entire home, with some shifting in the dominant and submissive colors.
Tobi has been in countless design magazines and was selected as a top 20 young designer by Traditional Home magazine. She also offers training courses to the interior design community and has one of the most-read design blogs in our industry. One of my designer friends has utilized some of Tobi’s training and found it to be very beneficial.
