Home Luxuries We Love: Liown Moving Flame Candles

We are constantly seeing new products in our industry. One of our more recent discoveries that has us all excited is the Liown Moving Flame candle. While it is a fairly pricey product, it’s well worth the investment. These candles actually appear real to the eye and yet are much safer than the real thing.

I’d like to tell a story of a Christmas party we had at our house some years back. I had some real tapers in a wall mirror that I have in my hallway I have that holds three candles. It’s a lovely mirror on its own, but is even more stunning when the candles are lit. I was talking to a business associate in front of where the mirror was hung, and as I was talking I leaned back toward the mirror and came dangerously close to setting my hair on fire, but thankfully my friend quickly pulled me away before my hair ignited. All of that to say, as soon as we found these Liown candles, I replaced every real candle in my home with them and love not only how real they look, but also that I can safely have discussions in my hallway again.

I highly recommend these Moving Flame candles for wall sconces and in any application where you are not guaranteed 100% safety. They are battery-operated and function with a small remote control, but have the option of being set on a 4-hour timer as well. If you have candles that are lit in rooms you do not frequently use, or for households with young children these are the way to go. They look absolutely real and if you don’t tell, we won’t.
