Mixing the Old & the New: Round Top Doors

We took this client’s back patio from nice and neutral to bring in pops of color using the same palette as we used on the inside of her home. By working in this old green
salvaged garden gate purchased at the Round Top Antique Fair, we were able to bring in a touch of the unexpected while adding texture and working in more of the green from our color palette. To see the full transformation of this home, be sure to check out the gallery on our website here!

The outdoors is a a place where you can be a little more daring with color. If you feel apprehensive about going bolder with your color choices, try experimenting with your outside space first. I have a feeling that after that, you might just get brave enough to work it into the interior as well.

On a side note, if you live in Texas and have not visited Round Top yet, I highly recommend going to one of their seasonal antique fairs throughout the year. You will be sure to find some very cool, very unique pieces to incorporate into your own home design!
