Building off of last week’s post, I previously explained that the other guest bedroom my client had requested was a shabby chic style. This particular style is a great choice for a guest room since it resembles a lot of the bed and breakfast rooms in the Texas Hill Country, which immediately evokes a cozy feel that will make anyone want to relax and sleep in a little. One thing I always like to include in guest rooms is a set of baskets to provide guests with extra blankets, towels, magazines, bath products, water and snacks.
After completing this and her other guest bedroom, my client realized that those rooms are now nicer than her own master bedroom, and she couldn’t have that! Needless to say, we are currently working on redesigning the whole master suite and should have that, along with a fully renovated kitchen, completed in this same home by early summer. We will share the before and after photos with you soon.
If you’d like to see the full project for this house, you can find it on the gallery section of our website as the “Helotes Transitional Ranch.” If you are a fan of blue like she is, then you are going to love the new kitchen we’re working on since we are painting some of her kitchen cabinets BLUE. It will also be a total gut job where we make better use of some very wasted space.
